Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BuyersNow. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

1. What BuyersNow is

BuyersNow is a software platform that helps businesses find publicly available online conversations where people ask for products, services or advice relevant to that business. It analyses a business's website, searches public sources, summarises why a discussion may be relevant, and helps you prepare a response.

BuyersNow does not post on your behalf. Every response stays under your control: you review it, edit it, copy or approve it, and you decide whether, where and when to publish it yourself.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. Accounts may be registered by a business, an agency acting for a client, or an individual using the platform for their own commercial purposes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BuyersNow to:

  • Post unsolicited or misleading promotional content, or to spam communities.
  • Represent an AI-suggested response as a verified customer review, endorsement, or as written by a person when it is not.
  • Access private groups, private messages, or any content that is not publicly available, or to bypass a platform's access controls.
  • Break the rules of a community or platform where you choose to publish, or the terms of service of any third-party platform.
  • Scrape, resell or systematically harvest the data BuyersNow presents to you in order to build a competing service.
  • Interfere with the platform, its security controls, or its fair use by other customers.

Where a community's own rules limit promotion or self-referential content, those rules — not BuyersNow — decide what is permitted there. We show the rules we know about; where we do not know them, we say so rather than assume permission.

4. AI-generated suggestions

Summaries, relevance explanations and draft responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are offered as starting points only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular community. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any response before you publish it, and for the content you choose to post.

5. Public conversations

BuyersNow searches and indexes conversations that are publicly accessible, and stores the original link so you can read the discussion in its source platform. Finding a public post does not give you the right to contact, mention or market to its author, and does not mean the community allows promotion. You are responsible for how you engage.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Access to the platform may require a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance for the selected period, and renewal may be automatic unless you cancel before the end of the current period. Where a trial or discounted period applies, its conditions are shown when you sign up. If we materially reduce the service we will offer a fair adjustment to an unused prepaid period.

7. Third-party platforms

BuyersNow depends on third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their availability, rules, privacy policies and pricing can change at any time, and coverage of a particular platform is not a guarantee that its content will be searchable, indexed or returned in results.

8. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of the information, brand details and responses you add to the platform, and you grant us the permission we need to process and display them in order to provide the service. The platform, its software and its branding remain ours; you may not copy or reuse them outside your own use of the product.

9. No guarantee of results

BuyersNow helps you find conversations worth joining. It does not guarantee sales, engagement, search rankings, inclusion in AI answers, or any other outcome. Success depends on the quality of your responses, the rules of each community, and factors outside our control.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded under law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as an Australian consumer, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where payment fails, or where continued access would put us, other customers, or a third-party platform at risk. On closure, we delete or anonymise your account data in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. Where a change affects you materially, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect, by email or in the product. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of its courts. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@buyersnow.app.
