Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to run your account and to find conversations relevant to your business. We do not sell your data, we do not access private groups or private messages, and we do not post anywhere on your behalf.

• Account details: your name, email address, and the login method you use (email and password, or a connected sign-in provider such as Google).
• Business details: your website address and the profile we build from it — what you sell, who you serve, and the markets or service areas we can infer from your site.
• Your activity in the platform: scans you run, opportunities you save, approve or mark as responded, the responses you edit, communities you track, and the reports you prepare.
• Billing information, where you subscribe, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical information: log entries, error reports and basic usage data that keep the platform working and help us fix faults.
• Messages you send us, including support correspondence.

• To provide the product: analysing your website, searching for relevant public conversations, scoring and explaining them, and preparing draft responses for your review.
• To manage your account, subscriptions, invoices and support.
• To improve results — for example, learning which sources and searches have produced opportunities you acted on.
• To keep the service secure and to detect misuse.
• To send service notices, and occasional product updates where you have asked for them.

To find opportunities, BuyersNow searches conversation sources that are open to the public and stores the author's public display name or handle, the text of the post, its public link, and the platform it appeared on. We only index content that is publicly accessible; we never attempt to reach private groups, private messages, or content behind a login.

If you are the author of an indexed post and would like it removed from BuyersNow's records, contact support@buyersnow.app and we will remove it. Removing it here does not remove it from the source platform.

We use third-party artificial-intelligence and web-search services to analyse your website, interpret conversations and draft responses. These providers process the relevant content on our instructions to generate results for your account, and are bound by their own terms and data-processing commitments. We do not send them more than a task requires.

We share data only with the suppliers who help us operate the platform (hosting and database, AI and search providers, email delivery, payments, and product analytics), with authorities where we are legally required to do so, or with your instruction. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your business data with other BuyersNow customers.

Your account and discovery data are stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access limited to people who need it. We use encrypted connections, isolated per-account data, and role-based permissions so that private areas of the product are only reachable by authorised users. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if your data is ever involved in a breach we are required to report.

We keep your account and its results while your subscription is active, and for a short period afterwards so you can reactivate without losing your history. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we must retain it for tax, legal or legitimate business purposes. Records of conversations that were publicly available are retained as product data without linking them to your account.

• Access, correct or export the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal data.
• Opt out of marketing email at any time using the link in those emails; service notices cannot be opted out of.
• Manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
• Ask for a post you authored to be removed from our records.

To make a request, email support@buyersnow.app. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.

BuyersNow is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Some of our suppliers operate outside Australia, so your information may be processed in other countries. Where we rely on a supplier, we choose providers that maintain comparable privacy and security standards, and we remain responsible for protecting your information wherever it is processed.
